Participation in the international project for the supply of equipment under the program "Support for the development of oncological services in Uzbekistan"
In 2024, 16 modern semi-automatic microtomes were installed in the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology in Tashkent, as well as 13 regional oncology centers.This initiative was implemented jointly with the UNOPS organization within the framework of the project of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 13.05.2022 No. PP-242 On measures to implement the project "Modernization of oncology institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan") to equip them with equipment that meets modern standards of medical care.
As part of our cooperation, we supplied and installed 16semi-automatic microtomes SLEE CUT 5062 in 13 regions of the country and conducted training on their operation for laboratory personnel.
Semi-automatic microtomes SLEE CUT 5062 allow to significantly speed up the process of preparation of histological preparations, to process more samples per unit of time, which is important in conditions of high workload in the laboratory. Precise and uniform sections produced by the CUT 5062 semi-automated microtome improve the quality of histological analysis, allowing physicians to make accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans for cancer patients.
